Muskets and Flintlocks

The Second Amendment guarantees a person’s right to own a musket or flintlock pistol — not an automatic weapon or a weapon of war — to be used as part of a well-regulated militia to defend against an oppressive government.

There is nothing in the Second Amendment about self-defense.
