The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department announced that convicted child molester Kenneth Rasmuson, 45, will soon be released from prison. Convicted in 1981 of molesting an 11-year-old boy, Rasmuson was released from Atascadero State Mental Hospital in 1985 before being incarcerated again for kidnapping and molesting a 3-year-old. Upon release, Rasmuson will be under 24-hour supervision by Liberty Healthcare for as long as they deem necessary.
