A new study published in Archives of Internal Medicine indicates that Mexican nationals in the United States illegally use California emergency rooms half as frequently as their legal counterparts. The study flies in the face of the oft stated complaint that illegal immigrants are placing an undue drain on American medical resources. The report suggests that illegal migrants from Latin America are under-using the health care system.
