Silva, a junior midfielder, was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week after scoring both goals in the Gauchos’ 2-0 victory over UC Riverside. With a turnout of 5,103 spectators Saturday night, UCSB set an NCAA attendance record by averaging 6,451 in the regular season.
