With the various cannabis-colored ballot initiatives in the rearview mirror, former medical marijuana dispensary owner Josh Braun and his wife, Dayli, were back in court this week. Both facing money laundering charges and the former a variety of marijuana-related allegations stemming from his operation of Hortipharm, the couple was in Judge Brian Hill’s courtroom on 11/30 as they inched toward what appears to be an eventual trial. Joining them in the courtroom were several other defendants also arrested during the Hortipharm-related raids earlier this summer. The goal of prosecutors is to potentially try portions of the group together or, at the very least, move the cases forward concurrently. The Brauns et al. will be back in Hill’s courtroom on 12/14.
