Club Five Toastmasters host Tall Tales Contest
Event is free to the public
Club Five Toastmasters, invites residents to its Tall Tales Contest, to join the fun. One of the event’s primary goals is to provide participants with the opportunity to create an original, highly improbable, humorous tale.
“Club Five Toastmasters provides a supportive and positive environment where members have the opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills,” says Scott Hopkins Club President.
After hearing the Tall Tales, members and guests will enjoy a regular Toastmasters meeting that will include Table Topics™ (impromptu speeches) and evaluations.
Zohe Felice, who has served in various club positions, will be the Table Topics master. “Table Topics are one of my favorite parts of the meeting,” says Felice. “This is where guests and members are randomly selected to speak for one to two minutes. It helps you think and speak clearly on your feet.”
