Goleta School District Looking for Interim Boardmember

The Goleta Union School District Board of Trustees is looking to appoint an interim boardmember to replace Pam Kinsley, who is stepping down after serving on the school board for over three years. Kinsley is leaving for “personal reasons,” according to a statement issued Thursday by district officials. The board will appoint the new trustee within 60 days, and the position will last through December. The interim boardmember will be eligible to run for the next full term until 2018. Interested candidates can attend information sessions on March 5 at 7:00 p.m. or March 12 at 12:30 p.m., and applications are due by March 24 at 4:00 p.m.
