Adoptable Pet of the Week
Dusty is a small, soft, cream-colored furry Chihuahua mix, who was abandoned at the Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter, and now K-9 PALS is helping Dusty to find his forever home. Dusty has very expressive eyes and is friendly with people. He is a neutered male about 7 years old, about 12 lbs. and current on all his shots. Dusty loves taking short walks every day and loves being a lap dog and enjoying the company of people. He also really enjoys soaking up the sun, and likes riding in the car. Dusty gets along with some other dogs but likes being the top dog, so being the only dog in the home would also be just fine with Dusty. Dusty arrived at the county shelter with several serious medical conditions, so the shelter called upon K-PALS to provide the life-saving surgery and veterinary care for Dusty. Now Dusty is ready and eager to see the world, and would love to be adopted soon so he can move out of the animal shelter and get on with his real life in the real world. Dusty is just waiting for the right person or couple, who is kind and loving, to adopt him and give him the good life and forever home that he very much deserves.
