Adoptable Pet of the Week
Lola
Lola is a wonderfully sweet, calm and dainty spayed female toy poodle, who weighs just a little under six pounds. Lola’s elderly owner passed away and Lola was abandoned in a county stray shelter, where she was quickly picked up by K-9 PALS. Lola is house-trained and has nice house manners. She walks well on a leash but is not interested in any long walks or hiking; short walks are plenty of exercise for her. Lola loves to sit on laps and enjoys the company of people. She likes being held and petted, and enjoys car rides, too. She gets along well with other dogs, although in her perfect world she would be very content as the only dog. As far as cats, she is so tiny she would probably be afraid of a cat and would certainly not be able to harm one. According to the shelter records, Lola is about 11 years old (although behaves like a five to seven year old). Lola recently had a veterinary exam and was found to have no health issues and she is current on all her vaccinations.
