UPDATE: Sky Robison was identified by an MTD driver at Carrillo and Chapala streets in Santa Barbara at about 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday, and has been taken to a hospital for evaluation.

ORIGINAL POST:The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help locate a 29-year-old Carpinteria man with autism who reportedly jumped out of a two-story apartment in the 4100 block of Via Real at 1 p.m. today and fled.

Sky Robison is approximately 6’2” tall with a thin build and a long, brown ponytail, said Sheriff’s spokesperson Kelly Hoover. He was last seen wearing a tan military-style hat, white long-sleeved button-up shirt, green pants rolled up, and no shoes. He was also wearing a black self-made mask that covered his mouth with shoelace strings. Robison’s family is concerned that he may be fatigued and possibly injured from the fall, Hoover said.

A helicopter and a K-9 Unit searched the area Robison was last seen for several hours, but were unable to locate him, Hoover said. A reverse 9-1-1 was also sent out to area residents.

Robison is not considered to be a danger to the public. If you see him, call 9-1-1.
