Some stretches of Highway 101 will experience temporary closures during overnight hours next week while Caltrans crews perform a grinding and paving project. Between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Sunday, November 16 through Thursday, November 20, the second lane of the northbound freeway will close from Sheffield Road to San Ysidro Road; the second lane of the southbound freeway from Padaro Lane to Santa Claus Lane will also be off-limits. The center median of the Highway 101 — going in both directions — will be swept between Hot Springs Road and Fairview Avenue during the same hours Sunday through Thursday.

From the morning hours of Monday, November 17 through the evening hours of Friday, November 21, a westbound lane on Hollister Avenue between Storke Road and Santa Felicia Road in Goleta will close to allow for road work related to the construction of the Hollister Village mixed-use development across from the Camino Real Marketplace.
