The only thing better than one Halloween destination is two of them. Kids have their choice of working the Milpas corridor (from 2-5 p.m.) or the downtown State Street merchants (from 3-6 p.m.), or, by golly, both of them on Saturday afternoon. Under the big Milpas Street trick-or-treat banner, the Milpas Community Association (MCA) holds for kids and their parents its fifth annual candy and nonprofit information giveaway. Along State and its side streets, more than 70 merchants have laid in stocks of treats, stickers, and other scary-good stuff from Ablitt’s to the Arlington. (A complete list can be had at DowntownSB.org.)
