5/19: High School Baseball: Arcadia at Dos Pueblos After winning its fifth consecutive Channel League championship, Dos Pueblos (19-8) tries to reach the 20-win milestone Thursday in this opening-round game of the CIF Division 2 play-offs. Shortstop Dustin Demeter and outfielder Gio Macias are four-year veterans for the Chargers. Arcadia (17-8-1) finished just a game out of first place in the Pacific League. Santa Barbara, runner-up in the Channel, will open the play-offs on the road. Second-round games will take place Tuesday. 3:15pm.
