S.B. Bowl Presents Two Days of Mexican Music and Culture
Día de los Muertos is a sacred time to celebrate the spirit of loved ones who have passed on and to celebrate their continued presence in our world of the living. And although the Day of the Dead officially falls on November 1, this year the Santa Barbara Bowl and its Education Outreach program will celebrate the Mexican holiday in style, with music by the legendary Morrissey, Mexican Institute of Sound, and Rubén Albarrán of Café Tacvba, followed by a free Community Day on Sunday, November 6, where Grupo Belle and the Ballet Folklórico de Los Ángeles will light up a festive and educational day for adults and children alike.
